What  Are  Career  Tours?

Life at a public relations agency is exciting; however, it can be intimidating at times. Starting at an agency is a great way to launch careers by gaining a large amount of experience working with different companies in a short amount of time. Agency tours give students a taste of what agency life can be like. It is also a fun way to interact with industry professionals, ask them questions and gain insight about working at an agency. 

How  Do  I  Sign  Up?

All students are welcome to take advantage of agency tours. Typically, we schedule one tour day per semester. Attend meetings and check your email to hear about upcoming tour days.

​Due paying members will be given priority, but non-members are also welcome to apply. The cost of agency tours is included in the annual dues paid by members of K-State PRSSA. Non-members may be charged to attend. 

What  Should  I  Bring?

  • Copies of your resume
  • Business cards
  • Notepad
  • Questions about the industry! This is your opportunity to find out what life in the PR world is really like, so take advantage!

What  Should  I  Wear?

Business-professional clothing is preferred. The following are examples of what PRSSA members have worn in the past:
  • Men:
    • Button-Up Shirt
    • Tie
    • Slacks
  • Women:
    • Blouse or Button-Up Shirt
    • Blazer
    • Skirt
    • Slacks
